“The restaurant was excellent! The staff was friendly and so helpful when I arranged a dinner for 20 people. A special shoutout of thanks to Sanderson, the amazing gentleman who helped me plan the event!”

“Lovely location overlooking Lake Malawi. The staff were so friendly. Breakfast in the morning could have included local fresh fruit like water melon, paw paw, guava, pineapple. Very cheap to buy at the local market. The kitchen was away from the dining area so the cooked breakfast especially, would have been hotter if the plates had covers over them when carried down to the dining area. One big improvement they could make is to supply mugs, a kettle, tea and coffee in the rooms. Another...

“so so lovely! 10/10 recommend”

“Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden, leider wurden wir jedoch im Guesthouse untergebracht, dass auf den Fotos gar nicht abgebildet ist, etwas backstage liegt und auch einen anderen Standard hat. Top sind sicherlich der Gamedrive und das Frühstück sowie das ganze Surrounding.”

“What a waste of good money. This is such an overrated hotel. It is ridiculously expensive. I had to change rooms in the middle of the night due to ongoing construction past 10pm. The breakfast buffet is $40 usd, in the states it would be $18 max (I’m American). The airport shuttle is $60 and it seemed justified when I was told the airport was half hour away. I was shocked when we arrived in under 10 minutes. I literally felt robbed. Even with the high price of fuel, the fee should be no more...

“Excellent ”

“Trevligt med solstolar i poolen. När till liten bar och restaurang. Rent och välskött. Fin utsikt. ”

“The Hotel was okay and the restaurant had good food, which was important since the pöace is remote.”

“Thank you for the pleasant stay!”

“In a word: Disappointing. We brought good friends there to reward them for the hard work they do and thank them for their friendship. Neither we nor they experienced the level of class we were expecting, A couple days we had cold water, that is when we had water at all. We were there 4 nights and 5 days and asked each day for a second robe for our room. Never got it. Our friends didn't even get a single robe. We never received a full set of towels in spite of asking and asking. And don't even...

“The Staff at Waters Edge really are amazing. Our meals were delicious and timely. When our kids were still hungry, we ordered another pizza and it came hot and fresh in 15 minutes! The AC was cold and everything was organized for our boat and drive safaris. Highly recommend this boutique hotel.”
